Since 1963 CARANT produces horizontal continuous casting plants for the production of brass rods suitable for hot forging application.

The horizontal continuous casting plant is constituted by:

Tilting and leveling melting and holding furnace
Chillers for the rods extraction
Hydraulic pulling and cutting unit with the relative control panel driven by PLC fitted of a video terminal.
Roller conveyor for the rods and rods collector
